I can not send or receive emails in exchange 2003

A non-delivery report (reason code unable-to-transfer and diagnostic code unrecognised-OR-name) is being generated for message C=US;A=;P=IAFA;L=EXCHANGE-120817170014Z-3. It was originally destined for DN:CN=SCONTRERAS,CN=RECIPIENTS,OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP,O=IAFA (recipient number 1), and was to be redirected to  [MTA DISP:RESULT 16 136] [12]

Favor indicar si puede hablar en idioma español, si no, no hay problema sigo traduciendo en inglés... gracias.

lets check the basics,

1, Are the services running
2, Are to stores mounted
3, telnet from server 25  then 110, and 143 if all are ok the exchange is running
4, telnet the public ip on ports 25, 110 & 143 if all are ok then firewall is ok

now we need to check settings

ensure that there are no send / recived limitations
