Linksys E1200 router setup

can I get help with this?  Wondering if this is secure? When I use a Vista machine to connect to router wirelessly, the dialuge window shows the network as unsecured?  Here is how I setup the router yesterday.   I logged onto the new router using 192.168.1.1 and kept everything as is except the following:

Wireless Security>PassPhrase...set a pass

Guest Pass> set a guest pass

Wireless>Guest Access? chose yes and SSID enabled

Wireless>Wireless security>set passphrase

Wireless>Basic Wireless Settings>Security setting WPA2/WPA Mixed Mode

Wireless-Guest Access? That sounds like an open network option

When you connected with the Vista machine did you enter the passphrase? If not you need to disable the Guest access option, otherwise its unsecure...

Or, you've set the passwords ok, but you haven't actually enabled the security on the settings page, check for an Enabled tick box on one of the setup screens

Netgear AP's are like this, you can do all the settings but then you have to actually Enable the settings to apply...

If the screen you're looking at already says WPA2, then yes, you should be secure. It may be showing as Unsecured because Guest access is enabled. Try disabling that and seeing if it still says Unsecured.
