I have a nexus 7 and when you open a certain file type your prompted with a window that asks you if you want open with a certain app once or always. If you choose always how do you change that setting again without having to reset the app to defaults?

You need to goto Settings menu . Navigate to Applications and then to Manage applications.

Once in the Manage applications sub-menu tap on All to list all the applications installed on your phone. Scroll down until you see the application you wish to change.

Inside the Application info menu for the application scroll down and tap Clear defaults. Once you have cleared the defaults you can then force a new default selection by triggering the action that the application would handle.

Thanks.  That answers my question and that's how I fixed it but it just seems like there should be a specific setting to change defaults for different file types.   Oh well.  Thanks again.
