Full downloads of Windows XP service Packs required

Hi All

I have an old laptop and bringing it back to life.  I've installed Windows XP but windows update doesn't seem to allow XP Service Packs to be updated so I need to obtain the full downloads of SP1a, SP2.  I have managed to find SP3.

I have been to this page http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/downloads/service-packs but it's not the full download files and when I try the SP1a link it starts to install but then when it tries to pull down additional update files it fails.

Thanks for feedback.

I have downloaded SP1 & 2 anyway but I will just try SP3 from the off as it's usefull to know I don't need to install all 3 if thats the case

FYI you DO have to install SP1 before SP3 -- SP3 cannot be installed on an original pre-service-pack version of XP (Build 2600).
