Can I sell my old unused Microsoft MSDS Universal Subscriptions (2001-2004)

I have a number of old Microsoft MSDN Universal Subscriptions from 2001-2004 that I no longer use. These include hundreds of disks and dvds with binders and plastic cases. I assume that there may be someone that could use this software. Can I legally sell it? I hate to just throw it in the trash.

The best you can do is contact MS directly. So they write it on paper. Nothing on MS says you can't so you can sell it ;-) if you browse ebay you find a lot others like you.

But to be 100% secure, ask MS if they say read our terms then you're clear. There is nothing in it.

Depends on the content, general rule is as
http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/cc150618.aspx

But software inluding OS's have specific terms including not for use in a production environment.

Otherwise MSDN libraries etc can be sold on. Unlike subs like MAPS where the media should be destroyed and software uninstalled on expiry.

For specific products that may have been provided during the lifetime of the subscription you can check with MS gererally a toll-free number
