I am trying to create a Link Server with Excel. I am using SQL Server 2008 R2
(SSMS V 10.50.1600.1)  and I am using Office 2010 plus 32 bits.  I installed successfully AccessDataEngine.exe for ODBC Driver for Excel.  But when I use ODBCAD32.exe, I do not see the Excel driver being installed. Any idea?  See the attached file.

How do I install so I should get the Excel ODBC Driver?

    Accepted Solution

    <<But when I use ODBCAD32.exe,>>

Make sure your using the correct one; the one you want is in the C:\Windows\SystemWow64 folder.

There is a 32 bit and 64 bit version of the 32 bit ODBC manager program.  See:
