We have a remote desktop terminal server setup for a small private school and we will be having their students access office and other various programs through the remote desktop service.
Rather than giving each student their own individual account on the server, we thought it would be best to use a single roaming mandatory profile to ensure a simple, consistent, and secure environment for the students.
Currently the challenge that we're facing is something i'm actually rather doubtful of finding a solution for. If 2 (or more) students are logged into the remote desktop under the same username and one of those users saves a files, the other user has full control over this file.
If there a way to force the creation of a profile for the student that will be unique to that session? And then have that deleted one the user logs off from the session while leaving the other "student" accounts logged intact?
To me it seems like the solution is going to end up having each student with their own account on the server. This will be far more tedious but I'm not sure of any other way at this point.
Thanks in advance for any insight into this issue.
