A North Carolina policeman (Jerome Smoot) has captured the first documented Snark in over fifty years.
Previously thought to be extinct or mythological, the Snark seems to have been stranded in a salt grass marsh during an unusual medium tide while searching for its bathing machine.
Note [bottom right] the ubiquitous helmet crab that was disturbed during the struggle.
Snarks are considered good eating by some, although the practice has fallen into disfavor with the (assumed) non-existance of the Snark.
Officer Smoot could not be reached for comment.
