I have a gateway PC ( Gateway DX4320.) and want to use a wireless keyboard with Touchpad...Is this possible with a Gateway DX4320.  I do not know a whole lot about bluetooth.  However my main goal is to be able to use a wireless keyboard that includes a touchpad...

Wireless keyboards or keyboard/touchpad combos come in two flavors:

1) Proprietary wireless. The keyboard comes with a USB "dongle" that you must plug into the computer. Some have tiny little "nano" dongles, others have big receivers that are intended to sit on a desk, attached to the computer with a 3-6ft long cable. Usually the receiver and the keyboard have "connect" buttons to pair them

2) Bluetooth wireless. The keyboard uses the "bluetooth" wireless protocol. It does NOT come with a receiver, instead it requires that your computer has a bluetooth radio built in. You use your computer's bluetooth software to pair with the keyboard, which broadcasts in a standardized way. If your computer doesn't support bluetooth, you can purchase a bluetooth USB adapter to provide this functionality.

The Gateway DX4320 is an older desktop PC, the specs are here:

Your computer does NOT support bluetooth so far as I can see. This means you cannot use the Noah Bluetooth Keyboard with it. If you really needed that specific keyboard to work you will need to purchase a USB bluetooth adapter.

IMHO - setting up a keyboard which comes with a proprietary wireless dongle is MUCH easier than setting up bluetooth just because both the receiver and the keyboard are made for each other and hard coded to talk only to each other. It's usually pretty much plug-and-play. Bluetooth require pairing using whatever klunky generic bluetooth software came with your PC, and sometimes there are interoperability issues between the bluetooth devices and the bluetooth-enabled computers.

If you're looking for a keyboard/touchpad combo, I recommend this one:

It is slightly smaller and more compact than a normal keyboard, it is perfect for sitting on the couch and controlling your computer that is plugged into your TV
