License manager in server 2008 R2 Ent ed and Hyper V Clustering
Hi Experts,
I have just built two new IBM servers for the purpose of clustering with Hyper-V and MS Storage Server 2008. Both OS disks state on the sticker that has the product key that 10 CALS are included. When I add the remote desktop role to the server and try to set up the licensing, it won't accept the product key and there is no seperate key provided for the CALS. A Couple of questions for you; 1-The 10 CALS that come with the OS, will these be RDS CALS? 2- Do I even need to worry about the CALS for Hyper-V. Information that is clear on this is difficult to find.

Thanks you for clarifying that for me. One last question; Will having no RDS licenses effect Hyper-V at all?
