How to resolve PDF printing?

Dear EE experts,

We would like to ask for tech support on how to resolve this PDF printing problem.
Kindly see the attached embed script for the result after we tried to print into PDF any website. After printing, it would pop up a notepad with this result:
%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%
54lpul not found, using Courier.
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%%

Stack:
[69 53 82 53 56 79 0]
()

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

We tried to uninstall and re-install the Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, but still same result.
But if we'll print into PDF any documents (from MS Office program), there's no problem.

Please advise what went wrong and how to resolve this problem...

Thank you!

How do you print to the distiller printer? Did you mean to attach a script?
The error message seems to say that you try to print with a non-existent font (541pul), maybe you can change that?

ASKER

Hi there deroode!

Thanks for your response.

A week ago, the user doesn't have any problem in printing into PDF, until last week (Thursday), the just select the Print -> Adobe PDF -> Save, then the program will do the conversion to PDF. But last week, the said user encountered that problem and we even tried to remove the Adobe Acrobat and re-installed it afterwards, but still the same.
We don't know what went wrong...

Hope to hear again soon...

Thank you!
Can you print in Office with the Adobe plugin or do you print to the Adobe PDF printer? Can you print with notepad or wordpad? Does the error occur with all programs you try to print to PDF with?
if we're printing using any Office applications, there's no problem.
Notepad, wordpad, no problem, only with webpages, and print into PDF... even the simple Google.com, the result is the same as the result I attached above...

hmmm.... the user have IE only, that's why we couldn't compare if that problem occurs too with other browsers. However, if we test it with other PC, no problem, only with that PC and that browser, Internet Explorer.
Though we didn't get the exact solution, but we got the idea how to resolve the problem. IE problem, we installed Google Chrome and there's no problem at all... The user can print into PDF normally.

Thank you!
You can also try to reinstall IE 9

Yup! but we don't want to use IE and the user like the Chrome anyway, so thanks a lot for the great support!
Maybe later we'll do re-install IE9, if necessary, if needed in some job.

:)
