Edit .SWF File

cu3er.swfHave this fantastic template that i love, however the flash comes up with a logo from the designer before it loads and it doesnt match my site at all and looks really odd.

I have no idea of how to edit a .swf file

please take a look its attached

You can not edit the swf file directly.  You need to get your designers original working file.  If it was done in flash, then it will be an .fla file and not a .swf.   It is possible the .swf file was created another way outside of flash though.

There are programs to "crack" the swf file and see the scripting but if you have direct contact with the designer, that would be the way to go.

If this is intellectual property owned by the designer, then they have a right to have their id in the work, and you are likely violating copyright if you remove it.

I forgot to mention, if you purchased your files from a template company, the original fla should be there.

I didn't see the swf file at first.  It looks like you are using http://getcu3er.com/ maybe the free version does not allow you to edit that.

There are plenty of free javascript sliders that can probably do the same thing as what you are trying to achieve.  

Otherwise, are you using the paid for free version there?
