How to copy a vCenter Server 4.0.0 machine for use with VMWare Workstation?

I use VMWare workstation 7.1.6.  My customer uses VCenter v4.0.0.  He is not an expert with his product.  I need him to send a copy of two of his "live" virtual machines to me so I can perform some testing.  What are the steps he needs to perform to copy the folders containing the needed machines to an external drive?

He needs to convert his VMs using VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 5.0, this Exports/Converts the Virtual Machine to a Windows Share on his workstation/server, copy to USB external drive, flash drive, send in the post, and you use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 5.0 to Import at your end!

He can use Export to OVF, see this Question I Answered earlier Today:-

(this is easier, but sometimes corruption can easily occur, VM must be Powered OFF).

You just Import OVF at your end.
