Windows 7 Sharing

hi there, what would happen if we turn off sharing on our Win7 machines in our network?  Our users are complaining that they can see each other's files when they click on the 'Network' icon on their Desktops.

    It doesn't tell me the downside of turning off auto discovery on a machine that is in a domain.

    Not sure how your environment is setup but according to your needs there may not be a downside to turning off network discovery. If that will make your users happy you might as well do it.  You can always turn it back on when you need it.
