Reliable, easy to use and powerful backup program for a small business
My daughter is looking for a new backup program at work, for one server and one workstation. The server is SBS 2011, and the workstation is windows XP (although it may be upgraded in the next few years). She needs an easy, reliable backup system, with American-based support, that can do scheduled full and differential backups on external drives and will automatically erase the oldest backups as the drives fill up. She would like a bare metal backup. She is currently using Acronis and is very unhappy with it. Any suggestions?
You might try Symantec Backup Exec Small Business. Its an enterprise grade product, priced for small businesses.
Thanks,
S.

Brendanmeyer,
I don't think the built in backup does a bare metal backup.
SebastianAbbinanti,
Does it have the requisite features?

I would recommend Acronis but as you said your daughter is not happy with it
please list the problems here
and i would try to solve them
we have tried it for workstations as well as for servers and never had any issues

Have you used the Symantec backup? Is it easy to use and does it have all the features that I specified?
