Office365 MX and CNAME requirements?

Hi all,

We use 1&1 as our domain registrar, can someone please confirm what entries I need to make to allow for auto discovery, etc as there is many sites saying you need this CNAME and this MX record.

Ideally it would be helpful if someone could reply who is within an office365 environment and already made the changes at the domain registrar?

    if you can tell me what office 365 plan you have I can tell you exactly what records are needed.

    Microsoft Office 365 Plan E1

    ok the screen shot is a customer of ours with an E1.  Theres only the 3 records that need to be added.  The txt is to verify you own the domain and the MX is to route email and the autodiscover is to automaticlly set up an outlook client.  After these records are in your good to go.
