Backup Execc Restore Job fails with credentials issues

Hi

I have a new domain that i need to restore data to, from another network (named the same).

Each time i test the credentuials on the catalog it fails .  I have tried adding a logon account which is identical as the old network and have also tried changing the new admin user to the same password as the old network but no luck.

Any ideas?

I think the Backup Exec is doing the right thing blocking you, imagine if I could be able to take Company A's Tapes and be able to Restore them on Company B.

The GUID of the initial domain has changed since you are now restoring on a different network.

...I think we need to look at how to overcome that - and the simple way really is contacting support.

Hope others have a working solution for you.
