Hi

I have installed Traveler on our web facing server and am receiving SEVERE error codes.

Here is the error*:
load traveler
21/08/2012 14:24:40 Lotus Traveler: Starting JVM with Maximum Memory = 512M
21/08/2012 14:24:43 Lotus Traveler: SEVERE *system Unable to locate the server document for ms01/OU/UK/domain.com in domain DOMAIN.COM
21/08/2012 14:24:43 Lotus Traveler: SEVERE *system These databases where searched: names.nsf, SuppDB.nsf, names.nsf
21/08/2012 14:24:44 Lotus Traveler: SEVERE *system Unable to open document Server Configuration Document.
21/08/2012 14:24:44 Lotus Traveler: SEVERE *system Lotus Traveler Server could not be started. The exception was java.lang.Exception: Unable to locate the server document for server ms01/OU/UK/domain.com in domain DOMAIN.COM.. Exception Thrown: java.lang.Exception: Unable
to locate the server document for server ms01/OU/UK/domain.com in domain DOMAIN.COM
21/08/2012 14:24:44 Lotus Traveler: Server stopped.

I have no idea why this would happen, as the server document is there and present.

I have checked the Lotus Notes INI according to this KB, but to no avail. The domain is correctly specified.

Has anyone got any idea how to solve this?

Thanks
capt.

More seriously:
- your cloaking doesn't make it easy for us...
- is a document for ms01 available, as you say ?
- the traveller server is allowed access to the names.nsf database ?
- how come there are 2 databases names.nsf ?

I knew you'd like the challenge

I will check out the domain issue in the KB article referenced.

Document for MS01 is available, this server is our iNotes server and main mail server in the DMZ, ie the one in the TLS question.

Yes the LT server is allowed access to names.nsf

I have no idea why there are 2. Will check.

There is only one names.nsf. No idea why 2 are listed.

I have checked the ini file, and in line with your KB that seems to have been the issue.

Thanks, I should have clocked the difference between INternet and Notes Domain.

Perfect. The INI file listed had the .com extension of the Internet Domain suffixed in the domain entry, once removed Traveler started OK
