Outlook 2010 is always on top after installing ShoreTel communicator

After installing ShoreTel communcator and restarting, I'm finding more and more computers are forcing outlook to stay on top of everything else.  The main screen of outlook remains on top of other outlook windows like: reminders, opening e-mails or new e-mails.  It also stays on top of any other windows like Explorer, MS word and excel.  It doesn't matter if you select Word as the application you want to use.  As long as Outlook is open, it will force itself to be  on top.  Any thoughts?  Thanks everyone!

Make sure that there are no outlook add-ins installed.
ou can see all loaded Add-ins in Outlook via "File - Options - Addins".
Use Windows Add/remove programs to remove then.

If nothing helps, try to re-install outlook.

    Another simple trick to try:

        Right click on Task Bar
        Click "Lock the taskbar"
Then again click on "Lock the taskbar"
        Restart Outlook

Thank you for the quick reply!  The trick of locking and unlocking the taskbar did work for me, but not for another one of my coworkers.  Next I will look at uninstalling the ShoreTel communicator and reinstalling it to see if that will fix it.

    Hi Gregd9,

Can you reboot his computer and try again. That sometimes works. You could also disable the add-in if you go in Outlook to "File-Options-Addins".

Rebooting also fixed the issue.  I'll be monitoring it to see if it comes back.
    Thanks again for your help!
