# Combine cells in excel into one and auto repeat down column incrementally

Hi.

I need to combine all the content from all cells in a row and then I need to repeat the process down the column:

eg.:
combine everything from B1 to AA1 into A1
Then I need to repeat the same formula for rows A2, A3, A4, etc.

I know the formula for combining 2 cells into 1 is: =A2&" "&B2
I do not know how to auto repeat it down the row and this same formula does not seem to work for me.

I have 1000s of rows that need to be repeated and the content ranges from names to numbers.

``````=B2&" "&C2&" "&D2&" "&E2&"  "&F2&" "&G2&" "&H2&" "&I2&" "&J2&" "&K2&" "&L2&" "&M2&" "&N2&" "&O2&" "&P2&" "&Q2&" "&R2&" "&S2&" "&T2&" "&U2&" "&V2&" "&W2&" "&X2&" "&Y2&" "&Z2&" "&AA2
``````

In A2 and using one of the methods to replicate the formula down the range should work just fine.  I just tried it in your sample sheet.

Sometimes we don't want to show zeros in our Excel spreadsheets. This is sometimes most evident in our charts. Look at the chart below, all the zero values are visible. I think that all will agree with the fact that zero values are not looking nice …
