Menu items Home and Shop pointing to VirtueMart Categories Layout (Top Level) but I temporarily changed these to an article and it didn't solve the problem.<br />
No modules referencing any category at present.

No satisfactory answer as to solve it through Joomla or Virtuemart admin so I resorted to my own solution of deleting the tables in mySQL.

When setting up a Virtuemart shop I created some product categories for testing which I now want to delete. However I cannot delete them and get the following error:<br />
