Installing SQL Server 2005 & 2012 on Existing Installation of SQL Server 2008?

I have a default installation of SQL Server 2008 installed on a windows 2008 server. I would like to install SQL Server 2005 named instance and SQL Server 2012 named instance on this server as well. Can I do so or will I have to uninstall the default installation of SQL Server 2008? I need all 3 versions to establish a test environment for all the versions of SQL Server we support in our production environment. Please advise.

You should be able to install all of them without the need to uninstall the 2008 version. All you need to do is, as you mention, create named instance of the other versions
