Adobe Acrobat Pro X in Windows XP opens off top of screen???

I have a user running Windows XP and using Adobe Acrobat Pro X.
When she opens her first Acrobat session the window opens fine in the middle of the screen.
Any additional Acrobat window she opens appears at the very top of her screen and she can barely click on the File pull down menu. She cannot see the top bar at all (which allows you to re-position the window).
We've tried everything to get the windows to open normally but nothing works.
Anyone know how we can fix this?
Thanks.

Normally a program will open where it was last closed. Try to resize a window and then close all instances of Acrobat before opening it again.

Another way to move a window like that is to press the alt key once and use the arrows to find "move" or to right click on the icon on the task bar and choose move.

Maybe a change in resolution for the screen will have an impact?

click on the acrobat window which you are unable to resize and then press ALT SPACE BAR and X  this will maximise the window and then close the window. Next time onwards it will open in maximised mode.
