Troubleshooting FaxPress Errors

FaxPress 6.0.2003.3 on windows 2003 FaxPress appliance

We use FaxPress to send literally hundreds of fax prescriptions each week to pharmacies.  99% of them go through without a hitch.  There are a couple of numbers for which the faxes ALWAYS fail with error 0019, Local Abort.  There is one number which fails about 95% of the time, but occasionally one gets through.

I would appreciate assistance in troubleshooting this error code.

Thank you.

Any idea on how to do that?  My internet search has not been very fruitful.  The appliance has the Dialogic Diva Analog-8 PCI v.1

Thanks!

To clarify, there is a baud rate setting under user setup, advanced, but it is set at 14400 and greyed out.
Itmight be that you have to disable the channel before you can make chafes. My experience is with the FP appliance with its own embedded fax board

Thanks.  I can't really try that during the day, but I can after hours.  I will follow-up.

I found this:

To restrict the maximum fax speed of your Fax Appliance, complete the steps that apply to your Fax Appliance model:

If you have a Fax Appliance (FaxPress) model that has a Diva (Eicon) fax modem and a serial number that starts with a 9 (9xxxxxxx), complete the following steps:

Log on to Microsoft Windows directly on your Fax Appliance as the local administrator. Do not use Remote Desktop Protocol.

Open the Windows Registry Editor. (Click Start > Run. In the Open box, type regedit, and then press ENTER.)

Browse to the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Castelle\Eicon Fax Service.

Right-click the right side of the Registry Editor, click New, and then click DWORD Value.

Name the DWORD value Max Fax Speed.

Right-click the Max Fax Speed DWORD value that you just created, and then click Modify.

Ensure that the Decimal option is enabled.

Enter the desired maximum transmission speed. (The default DWORD value is zero, which means "maximum.")

If you have a Desktop Fax Appliance (Captaris FaxPress) model that has a Multi-Tech fax modem and a serial number that starts with a 6 (6xxxxxxx), complete the following steps:

Log on to Windows directly on your Fax Appliance as the local administrator. Do not use Remote Desktop Protocol.

Open the Windows Registry Editor. (Click Start > Run. In the Open box, type regedit, and then press ENTER.)

Browse to the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Castelle\Castelle Fax Service.

(The default DWORD value is 0, which means "maximum.")
