rdlc report data

I need to generate a report with the format as in the attached file.

User choose the beginning and ending year, and the report will list seperately for each year.

I can select all the data with a store procedure. But how to display the dataset/datatable seperately based on the year on rdlc report?

I appreciate any help on it.

    Thanks for responding.

The store procedure is simple as

select Year(processdate) as 'Year', status as 'Status', count(ID) as 'Count'
    from mytable
    where status='specialtype'
    group by status
    order by Year(processdate), status
    order by Year(processdate)

Sample data fron the store proc can be
    2011        Approve                       16
    2011        Open                             1
    2012        Pending                         1
    2012        Denied                          1
    2012        Open                             10
    2012        Pending                         1

Not sure how to seperate by year.

    Accepted Solution

PFA.... Is this the output u need?

If yes these are the steps i did..

    just open BusinessIntelligence..

Create a new report using the Report Wizard...

Click next for all, until it asks for the Grouping and details.

Add the year field to the grouping section and others to the details section.

You will get a similar format as needed...

in that just make the adjustments like merging the cells, Adding expressions...

Then just add a sub total before the details .....
