How to set udp ports on sonicwall firewall

Hi

I am trying to configure my sonicwall tz 105 for some remote VOIP phones, the phone company says I need to forward ports 5060 and 8000 to the phone system which I have done they are also saying the following

ports 1024-1087 should be udp ports

Not sure what they mean here or how to do it.

Any ideas on what they mean ( I am not sure they know). Or if there is anything else I coould try I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Nick

Dear,

logon to your SNA > VoIP > Settings and enable "Enable consistent NAT" and try...

if still you need to open ports you can do as follows...

SNA >Network > Services >Add

Name: VOIP_EXT_Phone
Protocol:UDP (17)
Port Range:1024-1087

ok...

Now Create on AO for your VOIP Phones Network...logon to SNA> Network > Address Objects
Add:

Name: VOIP Phones
Zone Assignment: LAN
Type: Range
Starting IP Address:, VOIP Phones First ip
Ending IP Address: VOIP Phones Last IP

add,,,ok

NOTE: Ideally you dont need to create below rule,,,, for testing purpose you can create

create Firewall rule to allow communication from WAN to LAN...

Source:Any
Dest:VOIP Phones
Ser:VOIP_EXT_Phone
Alow....
test and let me know...
