Microsoft System Center Essentails 2010 error

I am running MSCE2010 on windows server 2008 R2.

I keep on getting these errors in my logs.   Many client computers are not reporting their inventory. 57 have been detected so far

well, I logged on to one of the computers, try to apply what you said, what the article says, and after logging on, I get this error message:

So there's defenitly a problem, I just don't know where.

And this error comes up a lot as well on the different clients.

I found 26 PCs not part of the SCE managed computers DL, so I added them and I just have to wait for the GP to process and I'll see what happens.  We're closed on Fridays, so I will let you know on Monday.

which one should I try, as there's a lot of different replies there and not sure where to begin.

I don't have IIS6, as I'm running 7.

Not sure, I'd start with the first solutions and move down... I doubt compression is the issue, so perhaps look at renaming suscomp.dll and seeing if it gets recreated after restarting the service.
