Terminal server Monitor Logs

Hi Everyone

I just wanted to find out if anyone knows how to Monitor users connections and disconnect and logoff on a server 2008 Terminal server.

We are having some problem with one of our Terminal servers atm and want to see if users are login off the Terminal server or just leaving it login and disconnecting from the session.

I see that you can Monitor a Terminal server if its in a cluster but not if its a standalone server.

You can check terminal service manager to check for disconnected sessions.

there are some commands also available to query sessions on TS

Windows 2008 R2 also logs terminal server events under event logs, application and service logs, Microsoft, Windows, terminalservices-localsessionmanager, operational. The disconnect session event id is 24, you can attach task to such events and send email alert. If you want to get detailed errors, this link shows how to add event log data to email alerts.
