RAW Device on ESXi 5 is grayed out!

I am will use raw device for fileserver. On ESXi4 with similar HW no problem, but on ESXi 5 with same Hardware it is disabled! (greyed out). How to activate the raw device?

Environment:
VMware ESXi 5, on HP DL380 G7 with attached HP P2000 with SAS HBAs  H221. All original HP equipment

Have you presented the LUN to the ESXi 5.0 server?

Have you also checked this P2000 SAS version is on the HCL?

http://www.vmware.com/go/hcl

I remember lots of issues and discussions about this P2000SAS model.

In between I checked once more the HCL.  HP P2000 G3 SAS is fully supported for ESXi 5 and 5 u1.

In this session I found a ESXi Plugin for the P2000 from HP. But I am not so sure if this plugin will solve this issue.  Plugin hp_vaaip_p2000-210.zip
Does the LUN appear, against the storage device in ESXi 5.0?

I have no problem to create datastores in the esx.  The VM are all running in datastores on this P2000 G3 with multiple LUNs   based on vmdk files everything works fine.  But how mentioned in this form for file server it is better to use raw device with rdm.
Maybe I am to stupid to create a rdm - is there one step to do bevor creating the disk for a vm? to make this option enabled!

I solved my problem.
In the settings I found rdmfilter.hbaIsShared was enabled! by unchecking this, the RAW Device Option is now actif
