SkyDrive Not Really Cloud storage?
I have a question regarding Skydrive:
I have multiple computers. I have installed the skydrive utility on both of these computers.
It seems all skydrive does it upload and download the data on to both PC's and keeps the file in sync.
I found that it created a SKYDRIVE folder on my C: on both my computers and continuously downloads new data to keep them in sync.
In explorer it shows a drive called "SKYDRIVE" but all this is is a shortcut to my local directory, not a shortcut to the cloud storage.
I am looking for a REAL cloud storage service that shows up in explorer and gets the data truely from the cloud. I dont want to create multiple copies of the same file, but rather one repository of the same file.
I tried sugersync, but it doesn't have a shortcut in windows explorer and also has NO SEARCH feature.
i am confused, and really thought skydrive would work but all it does it create multiple copies of the same file. If for example one of my computers runs out of hard drive space, it will not be able to download the files..
Hope you understand what i mean.
Thanks.

ASKER
Thanks, but SKYDRIVE (if you have tried it recently) already has a feature where it shows up in windows explorer. however instead of connecting to the CLOUD, it copies data from the cloud back down again...
is it normal?
