I'd look at a dvd from lynda.com called sharepoint 2010 essential training.<br />
It goes through from the very beginning (what is sharepoint) and covers lists, libraries, workflows, security and........<br />
It's not free but it is very well presented and flows logically.<br />

Don't forget youtube. It's a great resource and has very good content. A lot of training providers put free material up there in the hope that you may sign up for extra videos/tutorials.
