WSUS KB2720211 Advice and Help with WSUSDBMAINTENANCE.sql

Noticed WSUS stopped working a while ago and it appears that I need to install KB2720211.  I've seen a lot of horror stories surrounding this patch so I searched around until I found This Blog Article.  In the traditional NooOb fashion I got stuck on step 1.

Ive got SBS2011 and Im trying to reindex the WSUS database as suggested in the article.  I followed the link , copied the code to a text file and renamed it to the .sql extension and then opened run and pasted this into the text field

sqlcmd -S np:\\.\pipe\MSSQL$MICROSOFT##SSEE\sql\query -i <scriptLocation>\WsusDBMaintenance.sql

The sqlcmd window popped up for just a second and then disappeared.  I have no idea if it did anything at all.

First question:  Am I doing this right
Second question:  If so, what should I expect?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated too and if anyone is curious, my clients were throwing the 800B0001 error which prompted this vacation down the rabbit hole.
