Replication between to servers at different locations.

Good Day All

Here is the scenario - we have 2 servers replicating one in los angeles one in tennessee.

Replication from los angeles to tennessee is fine , replication from tennessee to los angeles dows not work.

Thank you ahead of time to whom can help.

enivronment windows server 2003 - using dfs management - static ip nic - worked fine and just stopped working a few days ago

It seems it may be an active directory replication concern. Check that DFS data in both Active Directory servers are the same.

Ok update on scenario - we have 10 folders that replicate - 9 of them work except one ?
dfs management settings?

I figured it out thank you - it was the quota that needed to be changed . I raised it and replication started to work . Thank you very much for your time.

This "quota that needed to be changed" sounds extrange. ¿do you mean you raise up the stage?. (There is DFS event that ask to raise the stage).

To increase efficiency once you have all in sync, update back to the old value the staging quota.
The penalty to restage once in a while (once every two years) is less that having a lot of unnecessary data to backup.
Restage is not the same as resync and it’s not a long and bandwidth consuming operation.
(If your DFS has been set recently or the use of DFS has been race up recently and steady, ignore this suggestion).
