Trixbox and firewall affecting calls

I am currently using a sonicwall TZ190 to secure our trixbox PBX and internal network.

Currently when we dial into our PBX, the initial annoucement / greeting to the IVR is played, but the caller can not activate any of the branches using the dial code.

According to the logs, Asterisks is not getting any notification of such interaction.

I currently have the following ports forwarded to the server:

UDP Ports: 5060-5061, 10001-20000
TCP Ports: 5060-5066

On a side note, setting up the IVR to go right to an extension instead of requiring caller input, the call is dropped as soon as the destination user answers the phone.

I am sure that it is the ports and just need to get confirmation of which ports I should be forwarding.

Thanks.

@ GijimaAst

Is this a new system, or did it just break after awhile ?

Check the settings in your trunks for DTMFMODE=

Your Ports look okay, but your Firewall is know to not like SIP and VoIP in general.

Get off TRIXBOX !!  At least the CE, It's not supported any longer and will bite you sooner or latter..

This is a new system.  I was outside the firewall previously.  That is why I believe it is the firewall blocking it or not forwarding the connection properly.

Okay,

IF IT WAS OUT ON THE  OPEN INTERNET KILL IT AND START FROM SCRATCH !!!!!

On the Sonicwall check for 1-1 NAT Mapping for the ports not just that they are open.  Check the SIP ACL is turned off i the Sonicwall,.

Check for Localnet and NAT setting in the SIP.CONF files are correct.

     Good LUCK --

I had to enable the SIP settings on the sonicwall to enable SIP transformations and enable consistent NAT.

Thanks Phonebuff
