Hi, Im installing exchange on a newly configured domain controller running windows server 2008 r2.

My question is how could i get exchange configured when my fqdn and my domain name are not the same. my fdqn is blahblah.priv and i have blahblahblah.us

I know that this might no be so clear as I am new to this, so any responses with requests for more additional info are expected :)

well it doesn't matter when you are installing the Exchange Server , after installation you can edit what is called "Email Address Policy" that defines wither the default email address for users is blah.priv or blah.us
