IE8 Disable add-ons is not the same as running iexplore -extoff
I am on a computer running xp3 and IE8. I am having problems getting a secured webpage to display properly and show all the elements. When I load the webpage from iexplore -extoff, the webpage shows the page properly with all the elements. If I open a new Internet Explorer window and disable all add-ons manually, the webpage still does not display properly and elements are missing. What else is changed by -extoff?
To disable: tools... manage add-ons... and disable everything: Toolbars and Extensions, Accelerators, and InPrivate filtering is blank, and I have one Search Provider). Not an issue with compatibility settings because i've tried both on and off for both cases and the results are the same. I've also tried a different user login.
