There would be some sort of remote functionality with Telerik but have you tried to enclose these in UpdatePanel?

Yes I have enclosed but that time the data is not coming to the textbox.
Check the following example

Notice following in JavaScript

        function onSelectedIndexChanged(sender, eventArgs) {
            var selectedItem = eventArgs.get_item();
            var selectedItemText = selectedItem != null ? selectedItem.get_text() : sender.get_text();

            logEvent("Index changed to Item '" + selectedItemText + "'");

Open in new window

You can change it so that after getting the selecteditemtext, you can set it as the text of textbox.

Add following line of code to ajaxify telerik controls:

<telerik:RadAjaxManager ID="RadAjaxManager1" runat="server">
            <telerik:AjaxSetting AjaxControlID="RadCombobox1">
                    <telerik:AjaxUpdatedControl ControlID="RadCombobox1" LoadingPanelID="RadAjaxLoadingPanel1"/>
                    <telerik:AjaxUpdatedControl ControlID="Textbox1"/>

<telerik:RadAjaxLoadingPanel ID="RadAjaxLoadingPanel1" runat="server" Skin="Default">
