iSCSI error "0101 in Vmware vSphere v5
Environment: vSphere v5
SAN: Dell Equalogics
Issue: had 15 volumes that were able to be seen from vmware. after patching only 10 show up, and ESX gives error: target returned login error of: 0101 for iSCSI
All was working prior to patch. Each is multi-pathed
In Static discovery it looks like the volumes are mapped in the SW iscsi adapter, but in storage 5 of the volumes dont show up
Found this article, but I dont think CHAP is being used.

are the VMs using LUNs (RDMs), because you will not have datastores?

Not sure where to check for luns, but they diffently dont show up in datastore.
May be important to note, that I think the VMs use RDM for their drives.
If all Luns show up with the esxcfg-volume-l command but not mounted, how do you mount them? how do you see which ones arent mounted.
