How to ensure Snipping tool appear on All users Start Menu in Windows 2008 R2

Hello there,

I want to ensure that Snipping Tool appears on All users Start Menu when users launch Citrix Full Desktop connecting to XA 6.5 server (on W2K8 R2 OS).

Please advise.

Thanks and Regards.

Try to disable GPO setting to remove all programs from start menu, so that all the users can view the application in start menu. its under User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu & Taskbar

Do you want it pinned to the start menu

You can use Group Prolicy Preferences to create a pinned shortcut in the start menu.
%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu

If you have not hidden the All Users items by gpo, just copy the shortcut to %systemroot%\programdata\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs

If you *have* hidden it, then there are a variety of ways to script the pinning of the shortcut to the start menu with Powershell.
