I have a user who had an assistent and everytime when she used to get a calender request it would go to her assistent as well. Now she does not have her assistent and deleted her email as well (assistants's) and everytime the user gets a meeting request then she gets a bounce back email from Exchange saying following below"

"Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists:

The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the e-mail address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator."

What should i do? where do i remove this user from the main users outlook?

Simplest solution, create a new profile for the user in question. Alternatively take a look at the following link:

The users mailbox still knows about the DELEGATE rule (Sonia) . It cannot be removed since it cannot be seen (deleted mailbox). The fix is easy.

ADD a new delegate (anyone will do)
SAVE that setting - to overwrite the old ruleset
    REMOVE that new delegate
    SAVE again.

This updates the Delegate rules and effectively removes the "ghost" from your ruleset.

    Accepted Solution

A profile re-build will not do anything, as the delegate rules live on the mailbox.

    I second Postmaster's solution.
