iTouch not recognized / not responding.

When trying to sync with iTunes on my PC, We get an error (28).

We've tried doing a hard reset on the iTouch itself, but still nothing.

Any suggestions?  We can't even get it to turn on.

I didn't read the log but did you try to upgrade/update iTunes?  Also, make sure you don't have an older Apple device still listed in iTunes, I had that problem before when trying to install an iTouch, it didn't sync until I removed the old device.

ASKER

We checked, and we don't have any other Apple devices except for the one we are trying to restore.

We did upgrade iTunes to the most current version.
