Startup Script to Deploy .EXE

Currently, Im facing with a problem which is how to setup startup script via GPO in window server 2008 R2. I used to manage it to work in window server 2003 and the configuration in server 2008 R2 is very simillar.

The picture below is my configuration step and in the script, I just want to see a message box pop up.

The reason I want to use startup script is because I want to remotely deploy any .EXE application to my client computers that have more than 300 computers .  So I dont have to do manually.

If anyone has any solutions beside the the startup script pls suggest me

Software installation is always recomended methord if you have msi. but if you dont have msi you can go with vbs script or batch file.
copy paste following in batch file and put into startup script in GPO

    copy \\domainname\netlogon\Softinstall\startup.vbs %userprofile%\Desktop
    cd %userprofile%\Desktop
