Registry read from lotus script for windows 7 64 bit

Hallo Experts,

I was using the following code to pickup Novell Login from the registry for Windows 7 32 bit. It was working fine. But as we are deploying Windows 7 64 bit now, the following lines do not work.

vLoginID = Evaluate("@RegQueryValue(""HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE""; ""SOFTWARE\\Novell\\Login\\Profiles\\System\\Default""; ""UserName"")", doc)
sLoginID=vLoginID(0)
sLoginID=Cstr(Trim(Ucase(sLoginID)))

sLoginID is not returning any value from the registry for 64 bit.

Please help,

I'm totally blank on this, so don't shoot me. Here a few ideas:
1. can you fetch some other registry key?
2. could it be that your request is "redirected" (I haven't a clue what that really does), see

@sjef_bosman,

Thank you for your suggestion. But any suggestion for lotusscript / formulla language? Actually what is my finding in registry for 64 bit, HKLM may be prohibited for accessing. I am not sure. I found an alternative as I can access HKCU now. But the keys are different. Thats a major problem. Also, HKLM is not same as HKCU.

Thanx,
Soumen

For what it's worth:
http://noteslog.com/post/regqueryvalue/

The page itself is a mess, but the HTML underneath seems correctly formatted, so do a View/Source and see if that code can help you out.
