Im trying to network 2 Sage accounts 50 Installations together

The main installation is running sage 50 accounts 2012 on win xp pro

The network shares are working fine as are file permissions

The client PC is running Sage 50 accounts 2009 on WIN7 upon installation its looking for a config data file from a network share but no matter what DIR I point it at it wont recognise a data file

2 questions

1) Can Sage 50 Accounts version 2012 Network ok with version 2009?
2) What exact Data file should I be looking for to point the client at?

Assume you are talking of Sage 50 not Sage50US.

You have to have the same versions on workstations and server

It should point at a directory above the ACCDATA directory

Yes sorry Sage 50 Not Sage50us

So version 2009 will not pickup the company data file on a 2012 installation
