I am creating a bar graph from two columns on an Excel spreadsheet.  All of the bars are the same color.  How do I create a bar graph with different colors?

Hello,

right-click the bar series, select "Format Data Series" > Fill > Vary colors by point.

See attached.

Mind you that a bar chart with one series does not need different colors for the bars. In fact, it's rather counter-productive. The bar LENGTH is the message, not the bar color.

cheers, teylyn
