How to Display a Classic ASP page within a ASPX Page

I am new to orogramming web pages and I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how I would go about taking a large ASP file that is a header for a large number of classic ASP pages and add the header.asp file to a new screen.aspx file which would cause all of the elements on the classic ASP file to display correctly on the ASPX file. I do not have enough time to recode the entire page into a master page as I have a tight deadline for getting this done. There are a large number of sites that have classic ASP and reference this header.asp file and it displays the tabs correctly on the screen. How would I do this I. ASP.NET? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Format for referencing it in classic ASP is <--#include file="header.asp"-->

Same code does not work in ASPX files.

in ASP.NET you create a UserControl that contains all the code from the header.asp page and then include the usercontrol on your page. Or use Master page.

I suggest using master page if your header will be included on multiple aspx pages

Otherwise, an IFRAME solution seems the way to go (if surely the included file was into the body)

Dion2003,

I tried to implement the suggestions from the site that you provided and not all of the ASP elements from the classic ASP page are appearing on the ASPX file that is now including them from writing them using an inline code behind reference to write out te classic ASP. The only thing appearing from the classic ASP page on the ASPX page is a hyperlink without any of the menu structure that was present as a menu structure. Any ideas on how to get all ofthe elements to appear? Thanks in advance for your help.
