I am trying to perform a P2V migration on a SQL server and I keep getting the attached error message immediately upon job execution.  The VSS writer mentioned is not even listed as being an available writer when I execute the >vssadmin list writers command on the physical machine.  I've also attached the output of the command.  Does Hyper-V needs its own VSS writer?  Exactly what writer is VMM trying to reference and how do I install it?  I'm using SCVMM 2012 and have performed numerous P2V's without any problem.  Error

It appears that the writer in question is labeled 'System Writer' on my other servers.  Just throwing that out there.  The box is a Windows 2008 x86 machine.

Found the solution.  Something to do with the permissions of some sacred Windows files.  Thanks anyway.
