Sharepoint WSS3 Top Link Bar Permissions?

Hi Experts,

In WSS3, I have several sites listed across the top link bar and it's gotten pretty wide.  There are links up there that I've manually inserted as a shortcut to a portion of a pre-built template like "Case Management".  Wanting to bypass a great deal of the case management template, I configured the template and then manually added a static link in the top bar to the list we use.  The problem is, if only 4 users out of 50 need to see that link, how do I restrict it from everyone else's view?  Is that possible?

If you add a link to the top bar then whoever has permissions to enter that site will see the link. If you don't want them visiting the site then remove their permissions at that site level and they won't see the link

Thanks QPR. Thats what I needed to know. I suppose I'll just modify the top bar of each site to clean things up.
