Using Union with IEnumerable

I have this code:
IEnumerable<Control> uvaCTL = (IEnumerable<Control>)this.frUVASafetySettings.Controls;

Open in new window

The variable seems to be of type IEnumerable and I should be able to use the Union or Concat method (, but it's not available. The only methods available are the basic ones, such as Equals.

What am I missing?

    Accepted Solution

    Did you "using" System.Linq?

    That was it. From the doc I didn't get the fact that Linq added extension methods to IEnumerable<T>.
