Stop users completely deleting a file/workbook

Hi Experts

How can you stop/prevent someone from deleting a workbook "MS Excel" via the my computer or open file option in excel.

So if some tries to delete a file it is not possible as they do not have permission or the access to do so...

    Accepted Solution

    You can change the permissions for certain user groups by

    right clicking the file > properties
    Security > advanced
    Selcect the permission to change > edit
    tick the "deny delete" option
